Willard 3rd Graders take on the OAAs in colorful fashion!
3rd Grade students in Shannon Rupert and Laura Mastro’s class room took on the OAAs in a exciting and colorful way. Here is what Shannon had to say about her amazing students:
“I have the most amazing group of students this year and they are such hard workers! They were getting concerned because of the Ohio Achievement Assessment that was coming up. I decided that instead of making the test seem like this giant, end-al, horrible test that we were going to get excited about it and celebrate being able to show everything that we have learned and worked so hard on all year! We made OAA Tie-Dyed Shirts and posters for the hallway. We hung the posters up for everyone to see and wore out shirts for good luck on Tuesday for the Reading Test and Thursday for the Math Test. The students were incredibly excited about their shirts and worked extra hard! I’m so proud of all of my students because they worked their hardest and were excited to show all the smart things they’ve been doing!”

Great Job Shannon!!! Your students looked fantastic and are always so well behaved and sweet when I have the pleasure of seeing them in the hallway. Thanks for being an amazing inspiration to our kids. ~Kristen Currington Borsic
