Early Entry Testing for Kindergarten
Registration/scheduling for kindergarten early entrance testing for Warren City School District residents will take place June 24th through August 2nd , 2013, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. at the Office of Special Education at the Warren Board of Education, 105 High St., Warren, Ohio.
Parents must bring their child’s birth certificate at the time of registration. At that time, parents will schedule their child’s assessment time and date and sign the necessary parent permission forms as well as receive an information packet.
The actual testing will take place August 8th through August 16th, 2013 by appointment only. A licensed school psychologist administers the assessments individually.
To qualify for early entrance into kindergarten a child must:
- Become five years of age between October 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013.
- Demonstrate superior cognitive ability and above average social maturity. Physical maturity and verbal communication skills are also considered.
